SSD Operating Temperatures


Temperature Measurements

During our test benchmarks stress tests with a high-stress workload, we monitor the SSD temperature. The peak stress temperature measured hovers at roughly 83 Degrees on NAND, no worries NAND is designed for such temps. Once we placed it under a heatsink, that value dropped to sub 60 degrees C and below.

Above the unit under stress without heatsink. We advise some form of cooling as otherwise, this product could throttle down.  AS you can see it's the NAND that gets hot, not at all the controller.
