You will need to hook the card up to your power supply with two 8-pin PCIe PEG (PCI Express Graphics) connectors. We recommend a 550W power supply to start with. Two 8-pins add up to 300W and then another 75W can be delivered though the PCIe slot, so that's 375W to work with.

Fascinating, connectivity wise the output connectors will vary per brand but HIS went bazerk here, there are six monitor connectors. We get four display port connectors (mini), one HDMI and a DVI connector. Included is a free DP to DVI (Single link) connector worth a few tenners.

If you peek to the right of the ventilation gap on the photo that's actually a Dual BIOS toggle switch dedicated to Eyefinity6. Should you want to utilize all 6 monitors then press down the switch and you'll get six single link outputs, good for 6x 1920x1080/1200. So you can use a SL-DVI plus HDMI at your convenience + 4 DPs that way.

The card certainly does look good. You'll need 31.1 x 15 x 4.2 cm of space for the card to fit. So most bigger chassis can fit the card. Power connectors are located at the top side of the card so that will not be hindering you either.

You can already see the bright green LED. Actually there's a series of them on the PCB that change color. There's a GPU Voltage Indicator (3 colors)
The card is equipped with GPU Voltage LED Indicator, green / yellow / red for low to high voltage monitoring.

The second series of colored LEDs functions as Fan Speed Indicator (5 colors) in the colors grey/cyan/blue/magenta and red. Indicating LOW to HIGH rpm and thus heat.

Overall the card remains cooled within very acceptable limits. But you'll learn all about that over the next few pages.
