  1. 2 x M.2 Socket 3 connectors
  2. 3 x SATA Express connectors
  3. 6 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors
The weird looking connector to the left is a U2 storage connector, which quite frankly nobody uses, similar to SATA Express.

The audio solution is based on a Realtek ALC 1220 CODEC and a combination of Creative Labs X-Fi MB5 software suite. There is a smart headphone AMP onboard as well. You can spot Nichicon audio grade Fine Gold capacitors. Nichicon Fine Gold capacitors are suited for high-grade audio equipment to provide rich sound in the bass and clearer high frequencies, You can spot an OP-AMP, the addition of this to the AMP-UP Audio technology makes for an interesting onboard sound solution for audiophiles.

Check the heatsinks, pretty cool design, much like the Gaming 7 it does resemble the ASUS SatbuerTooth TUF series a bit though.  All the way upwards you can spot two M.2. slots and also take note of the metal cover on the two primary x16 PCI-Express slots. It provides a more sturdy and stronger slot, handy for very heavy graphics cards.

Just one 8-pin connector to power that processor of yours, but it should be plenty though. The motherboard has a 12-Phase Digital Power Delivery Design based on 4th gen. IR digital power controllers and 3rd gen. PowIRstage ICs.

At the ATX power connector we stumble into some extra buttons for OC, ECO modes. Lacking compared to the model 7 is a physical power on/off, reset and clear CMOS button.
