Soundblaster X-Fi Digital Audio

Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Digital Audio Processor (20K2)

Audio matters to the Guru3D audience, now we are not saying that Realtek is bad or anything, its just that it can be so much better. Gigabyte has fitted this motherboard with Creative's SoundBlaster Digital Audio Processor (20K2) onboard with X-Fi Xtreme Fidelity and EAX Advanced HD 5.0 technologies, allowing you a really good audio solution..

Check that out, no more HD codecs, finally a manufacturer that goes a little more extreme. That's a 20k2 Creative Labs Audio processor, the X-Fi if you want, the 64MB memory next to it indicates extra memory for the DAP.

The tall green capacitors are audiophile grade Nichicon 33uF 16v MUSE ES and MW series Bi-Polarized audio capacitors series capacitors. These bi-polarized electrolytic capacitors are not cheap kind of components at all. The audio subsystems is very impressive for an integrated solution. You have a fully fledged soundcard on-board with access to the entire Creative Labs audio software suite, and that is just great.

You will get the full software suite and Creative control panels as you are used to. Above the installer.

So that's the full X-Fi feature set plus control panel, EAX, Crystalizer, equalizer and so on. I know that not everybody is a big fan of Creative Labs audio, but I'd prefer this solution of Realtek's anytime, anywhere for anyone.
