The K8100 has a touch-sensitive volume panel at the top of the keyboard, and a set of LED volume indicators on the right side of the keyboard. Now to change the volume, you have to slide your finger across the volume arrows on the touch panel, which then lights up the LED panel so you see which indicator your finger is on. You need to keep your finger on the touch panel until done.

The volume control itself at first feels a little so-so and feels a little unresponsive and slow. But once you get used to it, you'll gladly keep it. It's a wicked handy way to control volume in almost an intuitive manner.

To tilt the keyboard upwards there are little collapsible 'feet' under the keyboard. The keyboard itself has a lot of rubber grips at the bottom, combined with its sheer weight of over a kilogram the keyboard will rest very steady and sturdy onto your desktop.

The keyboard's keys all can be LED lit. One color only and you need to enable them by flicking a switch, it is located at the right rear of the keyboard.
