The Core 3300 has a new vertical plate installed inside, this actually holds SSDs and HDDs. Honestly I am not a fan of this solution, though it is handy if you only use SSDs.

It functions as vertical HDD bracket, which simultaneously holds three 3.5" drives and three 2.5" drives. You need to take out the bracket, then secure the HDD/SSD with screws. A bit of a step backwards in terms of HDD mounting really. We do wonder if it was really a feature, or a cost saving measure to not include a physical drive-bay.

In other news, two additional SSD positions behind the motherboard backside tray.

And there you have it, the Fractal Design Core 3300 chassis. Elegant, simple and definitely feature rich for a mid-tower chassis. Let's head into the conclusion.
