Game performance TAA + Raytracing + DLSS or FSR

Game performance TAA + Raytracing ON + DLSS or FSR1 ON

Many people would probably believe that ultra HD is the best monitor resolution. That can be debated really, on a personal note I feel 2560x1440 is the sweet spot. You sit close to your monitor, at sat 27~30" your pixel density is pretty much on par. At WQHD you need far less rendering power from your graphics card. So the WQHD resolution as far as we are concerned is the ideal sweet spot for gaming and hardware requirements.

We observe big differences when we enable deep learning for NVIDIA and upscaling/sharpening for AMD. FSR1 performs admirably on Radeon GPUs, whereas DLSS provides a significant boost on NVIDIA cards. Even at Ultra HD, we can now play the game starting with AMD's 6600 XT and NVIDIA's RTX GeForce graphics cards' 2070 Super / 3060 series.

16/1/23 - F1 2022 Update offers AMD FSR 2.2

In one of the most popular racing game series, F1 22, players will be able to experience the real-world immersion and high-speed framerates of AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.2 starting January 16th. We took the Radeon RX 7900 XT for a test spin to see what gains we'll see with the new FSR 2.2 update. See below the resolution spread from Full HD up-to Ultra HD. Settings-wise, we use the Ultra High setting with raytracing enabled. FSR2 is configured at quality mode. Image quality wise we cannot recommend Full HD to be honest, but starting at 2560x1400 and higher resolutions look fine. Ultra HD looks excellent with roughly 1.6x performance.
