Once we open up the glass panel door, we can have a look at the interior. You will notice that the design is a bit different from what we are used to with that bottom compartment and see-through design. You can install SSDs/HDDs on the backside. There is plenty of reach and space to access the motherboard and you can fit pretty big components. The 500D supports graphics cards up to 370 mm and, for the CPU cooler, up to 170 mm (CPU Die Surface to Side Panel). There are several grommet holes as well with rubber inlays and a HUGE gaping hole so you can work properly at the backside on your motherboard to mount new cooling solutions.

At the front side, one single 120mm LED enabled fan (SP120, 1200 RPM) as well as a good view of the grommet holes (rubberized). A massive motherboard cutout is there as well so you can easily change/swap/switch the CPU cooler. Here you could mount an up-to 360mm radiator for your liquid cooling project.

At the top, you can see a big mesh for up to 240/280mm rads. Airflow is pretty terrific thanks to the strong intake fans and airflow gaps in-between the glass panels. Cable routing is not a problem but not easy either with this chassis that has glass everywhere.

Located just under the rear fan we spot 7 PCI card slots and, all the way at the bottom, space for a power supply. Above the slots, the ability for vertical GPU mounting, you obviously need a PCIe riser cable, these will be available as a standalone accessory from the Corsair website.

Here you can spot the PSU compartment, the PSU can be up to 225 mm in length. Since you have glass everywhere you can see all the cabling. The PSU compartment was designed in such a manner that you can hide excess cables in there, hence the size. Up top, a nice vent, plain and simple.
