The mouse is based on an 18,000 DPI sensor and comes with ten (macro) programmable buttons. The NIGHTSWORD RGB has textured rubber side grips, and the top section is partially rubberized as well. It shouldn’t get slippery when wet or sweaty in your warm palm during an intense gaming session. The mouse is ergonomic and has a contoured design. It feels nice in my hand, but I need to state that I do have very large palms (I’m 6'7"). Still, the size should be ok for most users, although it’s quite bulky.

The NIGHTSWORD RGB is not an ambidextrous layout, but a dedicated right-handed design. I use a claw grip and I liked the feel of this mouse. On the top, you can see the scroll wheel, which can be clicked as well (it’s programmable). The overall shape is quite elaborate, but that shouldn’t be an issue for the typical (gamer) user.

The dimensions of the mouse are as follows: 129.0(L) x 86.0(W) x 43.8(H) mm / 5.08”(L) x 3.38”(W) x 1.72”(H).

Below the scroll wheel (and the LED indicator), you’ll find two profile-changing buttons, and then two more buttons for DPI adjustment to the left (yes, yes, yes, it’s a good change compared with the M55).

Overall, the quality is very good, and the plastic is rigid and stiff. On the bottom, you’ll find five PTFE feet that provide good mobility. The bottom of the mouse is superbly clean, which helps reduce drag and makes the mouse easy to control even on softer surfaces. The 18 K DPI sensor (Pixart) is in the middle, but rather than a product sticker surrounding it, there is a stylized removable cover. A center-placed sensor can be an issue for people who want to take advantage of the high sensitivity.

Under the cover, you’ll find six pockets for the provided weights.

3 x 4.5g and 3 x 2.8 g weight blocks are included in the package. The base weight is about the same as stated by the manufacturer (119 g).
