There are retractable stands. The ones that are permanent are constructed of a rubbery material.

The media buttons are designed as the secondary function of the I, O, L and “<”, “>” and “?” buttons. Win Lock, Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock have no led indicators. The colors can be changed by using:

FN + C
FN + V
FN + B
 

The keys are not completely exposed, but cleaning them with a can of compressed air should suffice. In addition, the keycaps are composed of PBT, which is more robust and stays "dry" and grippy-feeling even after extended use when compared to ABS. Unfortunately, there is no detachable palm rest (although that would have made the keyboard 1/3 deeper).  An included USB cable measures 1.82 m in length, is well braided and is pretty sturdy. 

The Cherry MX Red switches are used here. Okay, turn on the power, and let's get started. Even during the day, the backlight remains bright and clear. The surface on which the switches are located is white, but it does not appear unusual when the LEDs are turned off because the keycaps hide it almost fully.

At the backside, you can see the power on/off button. in wireless mode this can save you some energy. An energy function is present btw, RGB will turn off after a given number of minutes of activity. 

You can position the dongle to the left side if you need to travel with the keyboard. Quite handy and a proper way to not lose that small USB dongle.
