Sparkle

Next stop Sparkle. Over the past year we've started doing more reviews for them. In fact we have a Calibre series product review coming up rather soon. They are working on some interesting stuff and the one thing Sparkle isn't shy of is innovation. I like that. For example different PCB colors, Calibre OC series of products with special cooling (TEC/Peltier), special copper cooler.

Here's an example. Did you see it already ? No? Next photo...

Sparkle is thinking about adding a diagnostic onto the graphice card. It for example could read out your core temperature. Also notice that there's a reset button on there. I didn't realize it during my visit but what is it resetting? The graphics card ? Huh ? Anyway the concept will be available for upcoming Sparkle DX10 cards.

Furthermore in the Sparkle booth loads of cards are being shown off. Above the 8800 GTX from the calibre series, with the TEC cooler.

Here's the card you'll see in our next review, the 8800 GTS 320 MB. Again with TEC cooler.

Sparkle also had this beatiful case-mod on display, a specially chromed Coolermaster Stacker casemod with some leet stuff inside.

That leet stuff being water-cooled 8800's of course.
