Albatron (1)

The next stop was Albatron where I had a chat with Thomasz. As always Albatron is really out there with a nice stand showing off their latest products. We had a brief chat about current technology and discussed the mainboard market slightly. In a couple of weeks Albatron is jumping on the SLI bandwagon also and will introduce their NFORCE platforms. They will be at a price competitive point with a good set of overclocking features. Have a look at some of the images below and you'll notice a thing or two excusive in there ;)

I just realized we never reviewed Albatrons 6800 Ultra...

How about this one huh ? A GeForce 6800 GT with new Wisefan III technology. There is a heat pipe on the GPU that leads the heat towards three fans. Now look closely at the board ... did you see it already ? no ? Have a look at the next image.

Same idea same principle .. let me spoil it, the cooling fans and ribs are located at the backside of the graphics card. You can rest assure that we want to test these puppies once they are released. Of course heatpipe cooling is really silent and most of all effective.
