Here, you can see the entire bunch. Some of you will enjoy the view. The cables are all black and come in electrical and nylon braid with heat shrink wrap, so they fit most users’ needs. High-current cables, i.e., those powering the CPU or graphics card (ATX24, EPS, PCI-E, PCI-E 5.0), are made of 16 AWG wires. The other harnesses use 18 AWG conductors. They are sufficient in terms of number and length as well. Four 6+2 pin PCIe cables are included, measuring 600 mm.
The 12+4 pin PCIe is 600 mm long. The 24-pin ATX motherboard cable is 60 cm long, whereas the 8-pin ATX CPU leads are 70 cm long. SATA is 1000 and 700 mm long, and the Molex lead is 1000 mm. These cables are modular, so you won’t have to plug in the ones you don’t need in your system, reducing cable clutter in your PC. According to the manufacturer, we should find quality components inside, so let’s open it up.
This unit delivers enough power for most daily users, as there is a single +12 V rail with a total of 1500 W (125 A), so the unit should manage even a heavily overclocked RTX 4090 in tandem with Intel Core i9 13900K, which could also be “tuned.”
be quiet! Straight Power 12 1500W is a good-looking
power supply; the paint finish is of very good quality. Shiny silver struts sit
above the floating fan, flowing smoothly into the black-painted steel housing.
There is an on/off switch and no push-button for disabling/enabling the semi-passive fan operation. Next page, please.
