Above we see the ¼ headphone output jack. The insulator washer and plastic collar have to be installed after the card installed as it is a bit wider than the PCI slot used on modern cases. Above we can also see the included adapter for 1/8 headphones. The inset picture shows the adapter installed.
The above shows the S/Pdif digital output combo jack. This jack is called a combo jack as it allows both Coaxial output (RCA) and optical output using the included adapter. The inset picture shows the optical adapter inserted and the connector of the included digital optical cable.
The above shows the rear internal pin headers. On the left side we have the Digital Extension header which can allow an AUX S/Pdif output and an S/Pdif input. Next to this we have the front panel audio header which is used to connect to microphone and headphone jacks found on many modern PC cases. According to the specification this panel header is compatible with the Intel HD-audio spec.
