Performance - System Memory Perf: DDR4 Memory Read / Write

Performance System Memory: Memory Read Test

The Intel Kaby Lake-X platform supports dual-channel memory, the Skylake-X platform quad-channel. New is a bump in memory speed support. Most X299 motherboards will support XMP memories in the 4 GHz domain. Considering we are giving the AMD Ryzen platform the advantage of 3200 MHz memories, we do the same for Intel. We test at 3200 MHz, in this case with quad-channel memory. Quad-channel is a little shocking when you look at bandwidth.

To make it clear, we test at 3200 MHz CL16, however I popped in a 3600 MHZ kit for the kicks of the numbers. As you can see, the write performance bumps to 90K ranges. Again, we test at 3200 MHz memory, similar to the AMD Ryzen platforms.
