When we flip the board around we stumble into the processor area. Spacious enough, you should have no issues with most heatsinks. Other than that, fairly clean looks surround the AM3+ socket alright. I can not stress this enough: Socket AM3 Phenom II and Athlon II processors can be used in this motherboard. We spot one 8-pin CPU power header.

Components wise we only see quality really, solid capacitors, ferrite core chokes, quality components and nothing else, which ensures stability -- but also reliability and extended lifespan.

There is 4 x DIMM support with a maximum of 32 GB, 1866/1600/1333/1066 Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory. There is support straight from the BIOS and XMP profiles, and maybe even higher with overclocks. But let's zoom in a little to the lower right corner. High frequency memory support also requires support from your processor though.

Overall board design is just great. Everything is positioned really well and is at the proper location. Memory is easy to install, the ATX power connector at the right place. Let's zoom in at the lower right corner for a minute.

Here we stumble into the MemOK button. If you mess up your overclock, power down, press this button and a save memory frequency will be selected so you can boot up again, without the need to clear CMOS.
