Mechanical switches use debouncing for button actuation, which usually leads to click latency. The Gladius III has a unique, inclined button design with no space between the mouse button and the switch to ensure instant actuation. In addition, coordinated firmware filters out unintentional mouse click for both mechanical and optical microswitches to give gamers an advantage in competitive games. The Push-Fit Switch Socket II design allows traditional 3-pin mechanical switches to be interchanged with the latest 5-pin optical microswitches from Omron®. Since the switches differ in their feel and properties, the innovative base design gives the user the flexibility to choose the switch that best suits their individual playing style. The reinforced base also reduces wobbling and ensures even key clicks.
