Performance System Memory: Memory Read Test

So for memory we had some good stuff to work with, Intel has a couple of certified partners for memory to get some sweet XMP 1.3 profiles going.

Now I moced to 1600 MHz as really who runs their memory at 1333 MHz these days ? it was the BIOS default. AIDA memory tests we see good performance hovering at the 46K marker. You are probably staring at the 60K resutls right ? We'll talk about that in a second.

Memory Write Test

We did the same with the memory write tests. But let me show you something.

Above the results done with AIDA a at 1600 MHz (quad-channel). But let's see what happens when we OC to 2800 MHz and enabled the 2133 MHz clock frequency on the memory with the help of an XMP profile actiavted :)

Total domination, 2133 Mhz on DDR3 (XMP). The read/write perf close to 60K when the system is overclocked to say 4800 MHz and the XMP profile enabled at 2133 MHz.
