The reference 4080 graphics cards feature a maximum boost clock of 2.5 GHz, whereas the OC boasts a boost clock of 2.625 MHz and a base clock of 2.2 GHz. It is important to note that due to the high heat output of this product, a well-ventilated PC is required to ensure optimal performance. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that your PC has adequate ventilation to accommodate the heat output of the device.

The RTX 4000 series graphics cards are equipped with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. It's a bit of a downer that NVIDIA did not opt for the new DP 2.1 standard already. The innovative design features a single heatsink covering all heat-producing parts, divided into three areas, and connected by eight heatpipes. The heatsink is also thermally insulated to connect with VRMs and memory modules. Although exact figures are not provided by Asus, this cooling method can handle heat loads of 350 W with ease.

This impressive graphics card measures 310mm in length, 145mm in height, and 88mm in thickness. The Noctua team designed a custom cover that accommodates two 120mm PWM fans, with a unique beige and cream color scheme. While some may prefer more colorful RGB designs, the build quality is impressive. Noctua could consider expanding their chromax.black color scheme range.

The exposed heatsink design has minor drawbacks, including recirculated heat in the chassis and a less polished look than a Founders Edition model. Despite these minor concerns, the Noctua graphics card offers superior performance, exceptional design, and reliable cooling technology.
