Performance System Memory: Memory Read Test
For our memory tests, we are using a dual-channel kit at 3200 MHz. Thus in the BIOS, we enabled XMP (or the abbreviation for it in the mobo BIOS) and everything is configured at 3200 MHz. We've tested memory setup in distributed mode, ergo spreading the bandwidth over the two dies.
Note, you can/could place the memory in a local mode which is better for gaming and the latency would drop towards a 64ns region.
