Battlefield Hardline Frame Experience Analysis
Above, the percentile chart of 55 seconds of gaming. Here we plot FPS and place it in relation to percentiles.
- 50% of the time measured frames is doing roughly 65 FPS, which would be the average framerate.
The higher and more straight the line, the better.
The 290X you see still uses an older recording based on 55 a second run, we moved towards 30 seconds runs hence the missing part for AMD Fiji and the GTX 980 Ti. The graphics card manages to remain below roughly 17 ms (here lower is better), we see no stuttering in the chart. During these recordings we capture thousands of frames, not one of them was dropped or stuttered. With this chart, lower = better as the faster one frame is rendered, the lower latency will be. Huge spikes above 40 ms to 50 ms can be considered a problem like a stutter or indicate a low framerate.
