The photo booty shooty
Who needs internet erotica when you can look at images like these, eh? Study many photo's in the image gallery.
Tadaaaah -> the carton box. Yes really. Fun aside, always include a photo of the box so you know what you are looking for in the stores.
Right here we have the Albatron nForce 680i SLI. Obviously with the "i" for Intel and this board is for Socket 775. A really remarkable motherboard folks! Let us shift through the photo's now.
Rear end I/O wise we can find 2 x 10/100/1000 LAN (lovely!) 1 x PS2 Keyboard, 1 x PS2 Mouse, 10 x USB2.0 ports (6 external + 4 internal headers), Multi (8) channel Audio connectors (Line-in, Line-out, MIC) and even an SPDIF optical.
Socket LGA 775. This little monster supports Intel Core 2 Extreme, Intel Core 2 Quad, Intel Core 2 Duo, Pentium EE, and Pentium processors up-to a 1333 MHz Front Side Bus. And yes ... even higher if needed.
Furthermore the mosfets, some heatsinks and spot the new 8-pin power connector (hard to spot on the photo but the upper right connector). It's the "P4" connector. Usually this is a 4-pin connector. Now do not worry if your PSU only has the 4-pin model. It'll work fine and will fit just as well. The newer PSU's however, have the new 8-pin model connector which can cram 150 Watts directly to these lovely new dual and quad core CPU's.
