I ran into bugs and/or performance issues when I first played XIII on what must've been an Athlon 1200 with a GeForce3 Ti200. The demo was fun, a bit like No-one Lives Forever, but I never got into the full game. My first thought upon hearing of a remaster wasn't too enthusiastic, but that trailer looks pretty cool!

Would I be right in seeing no cross hairs in that trailer? I missed this game first time round but I'll admit that new trailer has me intrigued shame it's going to get totally squashed by releasing weeks from Cyberpunk 2077.

I played through it but can't remember the ending. Or at least ..... that's what they told me to say. 😉 The game is really good. Loved the throwing knives and that rope launcher.

The game ended on a cliffhanger, because it was setting up future installments. And, they never happened. 🙁 Would love to see this remake be a kick off for them to actually continue the XIII story.

man was watching this XII been on gog, and looked at it a few times. this is a mess all around via steam reviews, lest the og is cheap and available.

Command & Conquer and Mafia are examples of how to do it right. XIII seems to be the other end of that remake spectrum, sadly.

There's worse somewhere out there but yeah cel-shading = black outlines, somewhere and then broken everything else and all sorts of stuff this is quite a mess alright. 😀
