This is going to be pretty awesome, but i'm not buying an 8k tv anytime soon so i won't get the super duper benefits.
What does an 8K TV have to do with any of this tho? lol

How do you get 16GB RAM@320bit Interface, clearly on the picture there are 10 RAM chips, this would mean 1,6GB RAM chips or in bit 12,8Gbit. Never heard of RAM chips in that size. Theoretically 1,5GB are possible with gddr5/6
If it work like last gen XBox (or actual lol) it is due to the CPU and the GPU share the same RAM for OS, game, and anything else, it speed up the system compared to a PC using equivalent hardware, it is a real mess, but it work fine.

These Xbox names are retarded though.
Not at all, persevering against everyone, make this name as legendary as "playstation" The prototype of the 1st XBox sold nearly as high as the Nintendo Playstation (the 1st playstation's prototype) wich make them both sit at the same level.

Seems like an impressive chip/console. Glad it's shipping with Mesh Shader support too - seems like it's a technology that can significantly improve realism with LODs but Turing is the only current arch that supports it until RDNA2.
Absolutely. With this being the new base level spec games will be designed around, ( and with both AMD and Nvidia now having the full VRS, RT, Mesh Shader set of features ), we'll be seeing some pretty sweet looking games in the future.

A very, very nice tech uplift and should be a good pointer for the new PS too. The only way to give RT the real kickstart it deserves (i.e. proper developer time) is to get it onto consoles.

Very nice indeed, and considering what it costs for just a rtx card alone, if they can sell this for the £499 mark then it looks like i will be upgrading my XBX on day one for a X series.....love that cooling setup, very impressive looking.

It's a beast no doubt, Microsoft isn't messin around. What I'm interested in most is to see how much, and how well ray tracing is utilized.

It's and impressive console just like the Xbox one X, my issue being if it's like the xbox one(s/x) what is the point of it. There were so few exclusive games even if you just count the pc/xbox exclusives. Unless you really like Halo, which last generation a one Halo game, which wasn't that well recieved or Gears of war which 4 was meh, 5 was a lot better. It's hard to get behind this an be like yeah! At least for me, though I am sure the PC community due to nearly all the games coming out on PC don't have many reasons to look at this. But even taking away my PC, I can't see myself buying a console for maybe 1 halo game and 1 gears game maybe 2. When they don't seem to have these big exclusives coming out like Sony has the past decade or so now. My personal take anyway. Hardware is great, best in the console world. Wondering where the software is to truely back this up. That or more effort into the backwards games, with more enchanced, only 69 right now currently have this (which is great don't get me wrong but if they got no big first parties coming out why not have more effort on that front?)

My answer would be Xbox is being sold as a service, and the Series X is just a medium for access to the service. Microsoft will have all of their published games on the Xbox service(being on the Windows 10 kernel which the current One and the Series X will run) so this is giving people the option of buying the $500 or so solution that they do not have to do a lot to to get it running or maintain it. I assume installation will still be a thing, but what I'm trying to get at is it's another option for gamers. Pretty cool to see it like this as well.

Now they only need to disclose the price of the console.

I think you might be right, they seem to being going for this live service idea with PC/Cloud/ Xbox getting people onto the service. My issue still is the lack of first party software, the xbox one generation i wouldnt say failed, but the Switch has now outsold it and the ps4 outsold it by more than 2 to 1. I can only assume that this is partly due to software (Games) being rather lacking. I hope they learnt from this gen and released some amazing games like sony has. Which I think is a shame the xbox one x for what it was, was a super cheap and powerful system. Guess for those that play muti-platform games its no issue, but I love the single player exclusives that have been coming out as of late such as God of War, maybe my favourite game of all time (split between that and metal gear solid 3)

@Brasky lol. are you also gonna miss out on a +1000 HP car because they exist? 8K is useless until you pass 85K (for tv) or are sitting 1 ft away from a +50in monitor.
Well you said 85k not 85" so his Confusion is understandable. When I read it I was like what the h~~l is this guy talking about 85k probably never even become a reality in my life time at least.

You don't need an 8k TV and the console isnt targeting 8k televisions (they will support put UP TO 8K) but it's not what they are designing for nor will many games offer actual 8k support. 4k/60 fps is their main goal and with that some some games offering a 120 fps option (at 1440p or possibly 4k in lesser demanding games). The hdmi 2.1 spec (which is already available in lg OLED TV and more coming this year like Vizio oled) will enable many amazing features that these consoles will support and none of them have anything to do with 8k. Varisble refresh rate (aka gsync/FreeSync) Auto low latency mode (always have game mode performance only when it's needed) And I can't stress the enough 120 fps Gaming As someone recently upgraded to a 65" BFGD OLED 4k /120 hz w G-Sync the ability 5o play games at 120 fps (especially fast paced games) is life changing. Everything just feels like it happens the moment you think it and movement is instantaneous goi g back down to 60 fps gaming makes you realize just how slow it really is. It's like walking through air made of Jell-O. If there's any reason to upgrade your screen for these new consoles it's most definitely for 120 fps as well as variable refresh rate. With these 2 features things like lag stutter or frame tearing are all but eliminated. Get a new TV but only if it has all of these hdmi 2.1 features and forget about whether it's 8k or not. I'd play at 1440p @120fps any day over 4k @60fps. It's so worth it.

There were many years where I only found exclusives that I wanted to play on Xbox and nothing of interest was exclusive to Playstation. Since the PS4 this has definitely changed but I don't doubt that with all their studio acquisitions Microsoft is poised to bring a whole slew of titles I will one day call must plays I just don't know them yet. Sony did it for me with God of War (I never cared about the originals) in and the last of us as well as uncharted 4 (again never cared about 1 2 or 3). These things happen game series get old and new ones pop up in their place. What I would worry about is where is the best place to play the games you care about most and for me that's pc with my $10,000 rig but for many its a console and I would want the mlsy powerful one I could get to play all the titles that come out everywhere vbut place best only in 1 place.

Think I’m probably going to continue with what I did this gen after selling my Xbox One X, just have a PlayStation for the exclusives and a PC for everything else.

Hooray for having a 3700x/32gb/2070 Super, I won't have to upgrade my system to run games for many years now, since the console is using pretty much the same stuff (except AMD GPU). I would have bought a GPU from AMD also but my last one was awful as per drivers go. I couldn't do my production work any more on the system because of it and dual-screen support was a lagging mess when it even worked at all. Good riddance. I booked from the AMD GPU scene about a month before the [expletive] hit the fan about their drivers. Good thing they got on it some, though. Hopefully consoles won't have any AMD driver issues (I would hope not!). To that end I never had stability issues on my Ryzen x570 setup here outside of the Rx 480 8gb GPU drivers. Everything else has been golden, and not one hiccup since adding in the 2070 Super for too much money. Can't wait for some games that really leverage this 8-core (a select few do now, but it's not many and more the exception rather than the rule), to give us the interactive open worlds we want in future titles.

Never seen any that guy's videos before, but, wow...what an immediately distrustful individual... "These settings are not possible on a PC" ORLY? Well, you little dweeb, it was developed on a PC, so that kinda smacks you in the face, pushes you back onto a spike and skewers your torso in agonising pain and suffering, doesn't it. Also, and, this is a personal thing that I think only applies to me and no one else on the planet, but I cannot stand people who use the word 'super' as a superlative adjective. It actually makes me physically sick/nauseous. I really do not know why videos like this are made, because it is no more than someone reading the PR statements from Microsoft with a heavy bias to generate a narrative. Like, talking about the fan and the exhaust air, and that even if something is placed on top to block it, hot air will still be removed from the system, even though it is not ideal. The only people who would ever think to mention that are people who did extensive research and found that some people remarked that it was a dumb design because of air flow, so, they had to add that to this individuals media training prior to making the video. I understand and appreciate that people like this are making videos and have a following, but, he clearly is just shilling and I would never ever trust a word that came out of his mouth. At least Linus (who I do not like) bookends his videos with disclaimers. This guy is just a mouthpiece.

Odd Flex there I agree PC always nicer, and with xbox games on PC the likelihood of me buying this product is small to none, but was thinking outside of myself. And yeah a back on the OH xbox and 360 it had some great exclusives, will just have to see if they got loads to bring out this time around, Think sony has always had some great exclusives mind you, but even then loads are now out on PC... it's an odd time to be alive
