Not understanding their idea to just call it "Xbox". They already had a system called that. I think that will just create confusion on what people talk to. Sure people can say 360 to mean that, but if I say I got an Xbox, you have to find some new way to say it because you could be talking about 3 different generations. Seems like people at MS want to have brands don't think about what sort of effect that will have in what people ending up calling (as without a proper differentiator it will be commonly referred to as whatever catches on in the web).

I quite like it tbh even if it looks like a PS3 tho. It must be that black/chrome combo.
Based on the loading slot I'm assuming its length is around 14in/35cm+/-. Ps3 is 12.75in/32.38cm and slim 11.42in/29cm.
But then again I highly doubt this is even remotely close to the finished product. But you never know.

Only 8GB ram? I guess its enough.
I like the idea of logical threading for the CPU, I wonder what type of video processing they will put in it.
Also pretty sure that rectangular design with rounded edges falls into apple's patents. :stewpid:

No way, it's not ugly at all. I think that looks pretty sleek.
Not only that, but it looks like the thing fits in an entertainment center. That's something that needs to be taken into account. These consoles aren't just for games anymore, they're entertainment centers. They need to fit that role functionally and aesthetically.
I think that does it, but this is probably just a mock-up anyway.

This design more than any other console blends in better with audio receivers, DVR's, BluRay players, cable boxes, etc.

Still reminds me of the iPhone 4 :P Sounds impressive, I hope studios make larger maps and improve the physics we have in games and not just make them shiny ... who am I kidding.

Depends on the ram. DDR3 is cheap but it might not be what ends up into that console. Xbox360 has 512mb of gDDR3 ram and PS3 has 256mb of XDR DRAM and 256mb or gDDR3.
