I'll be modding mine back to blue, thank you very much.

Lol this thread is such shit. When did the anti-woke crowd became more toxic and annoying than the woke crowd?

This feature is pointless. Speaking about it renders the discussion pointless.
M$: "Here, you can put this black bandage over your wound."
Client: " Why don't you fix the bike preventing me from getting hurt in the first place?" You sold that to me, I payed! I expect a quality bike, you advertised it so"
M$: "Black bandage also hides the bleeding and looks nice"

I think i have had a BSOD twice in W10 in all the time i have used it and in both times it was caused by drivers for Vr stuff that had been unoffically modded......but it has been a very stable system.

Probably, Microsoft chose to replace blue with black, because it's the least attention-drawing background they could manage.
I mean, c'mon, when that bright blue hits, and lights up your area like a hydrogen bomb, and your start having all the "Nelson Muntz" laughter and finger-pointing aimed at you, it's a bit humiliating, no? (Try changing the "Critical Stop" sound in Windows to Nelson Muntz on a co-worker's PC. Bliss!)
Hearing, "Throw that thing in the trash!", is a bit depressing. Now, with a black background, you just might be able to keep your cranky Windows issue on the q.t.
I was on a red-eye flight from L.A. to New York a few years back where the flight attendant had to ask a guy in an aisle-seat to quit with his blue-screening Windows laptop because it was keeping others awake.

I don't really care what color they make the screen. It's about time they tried adding information that's actually useful for the average user.
crowds that follow a trend in 1 direction or the other are always toxic. We're just conditioned to see the "other side" as being the toxic side because it runs contrary to our own beliefs.
And your response is no less toxic than you perceive his to be.....
