Lol well they are saying they don't think the cold thruster will fire to hold it down on the comet so hopefully it won't land on a rock or massive slope. Otherwise it will skip off when the harpoons fire and make for an interesting XKCD image update.

The cheers would have been the data coming back successfully, they're talking about telemetry and elevation right now, there's nothing to show right now really though, it's just numbers coming in.

Yea but it's on the surface and all we got to see on this amazing live stream was a silent feed of some guys staring at screens that we couldn't even see Pointless streaming it really, thought we would get some sort of video feed of the landing
