Yeah it's just a USB thumb drive, USB stick, flash drive, or whatever else you want to call it. If this is a USB SSD, then all USB sticks are USB SSD's due to the memory type used on the flash drives. I think they are calling it a pocket SSD to justify the price for the capacity.
To be fair it's pretty fast. The price is comparable to a standard SSD and it's up there in read performance (not write performance tho).
