It is, but could be that they're referring to full screen peak white rather than the a smaller % window.

Interesting. ViewSonic getting in early as an adopter oled screens. TBH I think they should have offered a 32" With ViewSonic in the market with oled I would hope this leads to lower prices sooner.

not really. there are a couple things in play... 1) this panel is capable of 1+k nits in a 10% window 2) Viewsonic is and has always been conservative in their ratings and their monitors are known for being long lasting. which leads me to believe that this is a way for Viewsonic to hedge their bets re: burn-in with a lower spec power supply. this panel is equipped with MLA so a 450 nit rating is very conservative, but is much more honest than most monitor brands.

i agree but Viewsonic looked at the numbers. 32"-34" are niche sizes, as much as i love them. also a 32-34" puts them in the crosshairs of Dell, who has eaten much of Viewsonic's market share (in enterprise)
