I also got that cable and Neo Cyrus is absolutely correct. The photos are deceptive to the extreme. They make it look like each sleeved wire is physically connected to it's neighbor, but they are not. It really doesn't matter to me, but it's not right for Corsair to advertise it that way.
True, I though I was getting a flat cable only to discover the individual sleeves were not connected.
