Maybe I spent to much time as a kid watching Terminator, Johnny Mnemonic and BSG, or maybe I'm just a paranoid neanderthal but all this linking of devices and interconnectivity gives me the goosebumps and seems ultimately like a bad idea.

The same fingerprint scanner that works for around three weeks after calibration then decides that its had enough of being a fingerprint scanner and you have to go back to using the screen wipe unlock, until you can be bothered recalibrating it again?
Unlock my PC with THAT feature.... uh yeah but no!

Yeah, I've had my S7 since pretty much launch and the only time I had to recalibrate was when I wanted to add my left thumb.
It's not even in good condition anymore, after being dropped several hundred times the sensor is quite marked up and still works.
The only time it doesn't is when it's covered in water, so this could be a handy feature if i ever go back to having my PC locked at any stage.

It is pretty much useless to me anyway. It uses BT. I have USB BT dongle. But I have multiple computers. So how do I pair it with given locked computer if it has been paired to another one last time?
And even if it is currently paired with computer I want to unlock... How long does it take to click yourself in this fingerprint application? I am quite sure it will take longer than typing password/pin on actual PC.
And I can unlock my PC remotely from phone anyway.
Running this command via RPC/RDP of user I want to unlock screen for with elevated privileges does the job.
And since that is done through network, I can unlock session from anywhere π

lol no, u dont need any of that. the entire thing works by sending magic packets and utilizing Wake-on-LAN standard. And it works over Internet just as well as over LAN.
arduino and relays... π

so its not something kids can do after all?
arduino and relays and whatnot, instead of simply using already existing WoL is something these guys would do!

Too bad that the Samsung Flow requires TPM support from the motherboard. At least my Asus P8Z77-V Pro doesn't have that.
