nice
I think games that added dlss later on have had better results so far, with the exception of death stranding that nailed it on day one.
imo cp2077 dlss looks a little worse than e.g. what I've personally seen in wolfenstein,or other ones that I've seen in reviews.
it's picking up pace big time, and what matters is that dlss is good enough now they're trying to use it for triple A titles.
I guess it will be a marketing thing, the game work fine in any GPU DLSS capable we will have to wait for the FSR to be implemented to have something that can be used on GPUs that needs upscale.
Good news, i just ordered a Gigabyte 3060 to go along with my Ryzen 3700x (my previous setup was an fx 6350 and an evga gtx 960 4gb) I could actually play it with decent performance on medium to high settings though, but in some areas the fps dropped to under 30. Still surprised that the old 960 holds up pretty good considering how old it is now
I was so hyped for the game, yet the game gave me technical issues and i didn't enjoy online one bit. Didn't even finish the singleplayer. Can't be bothered to mess with this game again.

Online is cancer due to the constant griefing, and no way of preventing it, unlike in gta 5 where you could enter passive mode.
SP is a masterpiece though ! It's a bit tough to get through the prologue, but then it starts getting better, and gets better throughout the game.
Looove spending time in this world

Many games are better in SP than online. Even COOP varies unless you play on SOMEONE else's server and admins are close by. Tons of griefers. In PVPVE games, even worst as the sole purpose is to destroy others players, gear or bases.
Better to create a coop game group and keep it tight.
To be fair it's one of the best looking games out and I get like ~100fps at QHD. It's pretty well optimized for what it is. I'm sure they looked at it and basically said we can either spend a few weeks implementing DLSS for 40-50% increases or we can spend months for 10%.
Nice, free performance and IQ boost.
Hope it works out well, this is good news for a lot of gamers 🙂
No matter how much nvidias pr team wants you to believe it (and sadly succesfully brainwashed alot of people), dlss does NOT improve image quality - on the contrary it degrades image quality. The only exception would be using dlss at native res, thus not improving performance.

I have eyes and a free mind, don't drag me in to your nightmare.

to me it's just a little different.I prefer native cause it's just softer to my eyes, dlss tends to overexpose a lot of detail,it's not always natural.
though I gotta say I like dlss too, especially for the antialiasing it does.I hate shimmer,it was the main reason I went with 24" 1440p,and dlss just does away with all the shimmering nonsense beutifully.
so all in all,you win some you lose some.
native + mediocre AA vs good implementation of dlss like in wolfenstein ->not even a contest to me.dlss wins in terms of pure image quality.
native + good AA vs worse dlss implementation -> image quality is gonna be better without it.
This area by the door is noticeably more detailed with DLSS in my opinion. But there are other areas in the game here for example: https://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/15490&sa=D&source=hangouts&ust=1625850625112000&usg=AFQjCNH7KyGl4A2JV51Wk6o-C6DbZvGCog At 4K, where even though this part looks better:
With DLSS.. the textures throughout that wall are noticeably worse.
