This really screams "budget board", though that's not necessarily a bad thing. I guess it's only a problem because there are only 2 RAM slots when you likely can only use 1.

The manufacturer did not clarify how the memory slots function, but we think the motherboard can only handle one type of memory at a time.

If it could handle both, that would be very interesting. Maybe the DDR5 DIMM could be reserved for the iGPU.

This vrm does not seem capable of running anything over 65watts with out direct fan hitting it !

It reminds me good old days when gigabyte was making ddr2/ddr3 compatible boards.
