Flame decals make cars drive faster. RGB makes games run faster. A checkmark on shoes make people's feet run faster. Skinny fonts with a "clean" design makes Photoshop run faster.

Sorry, but I don't get it??? What's so special with these RAM sticks that others didn't do it??? Did they do it? or didn't do it? Cooling and stuff I've seen better so what else is out there?

Nice, hopefully this is a turning point and more brands will make Non-RGB hardware. RGB Boom?

RGB winter? 😀 Although, can't you deactivate RGB with every other RGB RAM too?

What are you all talking about there are way more non RGB memories than RGB ones, by a huge margin. It sounds like you complain for the sake of complainig.

When the customer sees the Gold diamond encrusted rgb laden memory and says " thats not for me" thats a lost sale, even if you can turn it off.

Not without software. It should be disabled by default, and require software to enable.

Yes, I agree it should be that way. But tbh, it's annoying that you can't turn it off via BIOS for instance. Running a specific software for every component of my rig is not an appealing thought, even if the performance probably isn't the issue.

It's the idea. It's why i sold my Crucial RGB kit and got the same kit without RGB :P

To justify how expensive it is going to be. Stop buying their garbage and NFT-ridden console ports. Let's get back to what matters and that is performance. I want my machine dull and fast. I look at the screen, not the guts. I have a 15-year-old case that is built like a tank, has more room than I will ever need, and keeps everything relatively cool, for an AMD 5800X anyway. Yes the PSU is at the top, so what?
