They did an amazing job with this game you can play for hours and have fun without even accomplishing anything but the online is basically crap because of the built in auto aim took me a while to figure out why I sucked so bad online but after figuring out why I stopped playing altogether they basically integrated a hack for all.

I guess those numbers have to do with cheating. People enjoy the game and after a permaban for exploiting, they need to buy another account. They probably had a high level so use again a mod to increase their skills, feel better killing mates and spawning cars, etc, until they get banned again and need to purchase a new one.

I really will need to sit down and play this game at some point. lol

still waiting for the price to drop below 30€ i understand that as long as there is demand, price won't drop further, but keeping it at 30 after 5 years is just rediculous *edit* just checked steam and other retailers, price is back at 60€ since there is no current sales

Easy cure for all the multiplayer issues: Don't play mulitplayer. That's what I did, and I had a great time, no cheaters, no issues.

I hate this game, only because I bought it day one on disk and still can't get it to work. I got it working ONCE, and only ONCE... And that was a real pain, last time I knew it needed to dl like 80 gigs after installing I think 8 dvd's...(I don't know it was some insane amount of updates and disks) I install it, and it fails to do a darned thing afterwards, I've got all the manual update crap it needed to get it to update it's self. But I can't remember for the life of me exactly how I did it, the right order and so on. Reg edits I needed and etc. I spent almost $100 on this game. And like I said, I played it for maybe 15 mins on my gtx680 and uninstalled it for space until I got a new card. Got the new card last apr, and it's almost been a year now since the time I last tried. It's worse then installing gta4, which fails to install period unless you're on xp. But at least it works in the end, gta5, nope, doesn't work at all. Pisses me right off tbh. They completely suck at pc ports. Of all the things, the pirate copy works but it's buggy and old/crappy. Real deal, heck nope. I'de like to take a sh!t on it and mail it to the company tbh. That's how much I love there product. I really do want to play it, but I can't. I'm not gonna buy it a 2nd time either...(ie steam, just to get it to work) This is a big FU to rockstar games.
Uhm I installed both GTA4 and GTA5 on win7 pro, win 8.1 home, and win10 ent without issues. Not sure, but did the thought ever occure to you that your system has some issues that just make your system not work properly? What happened in detail?

Problem is with your system, not their game. You really want a solution? Open a new thread and give us proper details, thoroughly.

I'm sure they gonna milk the shit out of RDR2, knowing it worked in GTA5.

Maybe Rockstar Games might port GTA V to the Switch depending on how well LA Noire Sold on the Switch.

How is it Rockstar's fault if your PC sucks? Millions of people were able to play GTA V without any issues.

You guys should just @ my nick, the quoting doesn't work well when logged out and it makes it hard to read. Seems ok when logged in though. Anyways guys I'm not even in windows right now. And like I said, it's been about a year since I last tried to get it to run. So I have no idea what errors it had off hand. I can only post what I got for it. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204772198 https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/203312938-GTA-V-PC-The-Rockstar-Game-Services-are-unavailable- GTAV_Setup_Tool.exe GTA_V_Bootstrap_1_0_0_1.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_323_1.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_331_1.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_335_2.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_344_1.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_350_1.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_372_2.exe GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_372_3.exe Social Club v1.1.5.8 Setup.exe Social Club v1.1.6.0 Setup.exe They're all from 2015... The biggest mistake I always make is not backing up the registry parts for this game after 1st install. When I screw up and I'm like oh crap, I have to start from scratch because I forgot to backup. It takes it's game/launcher and social club ver's from the registry. If they don't match up exactly for what it wants, it won't do a darn thing. Also gotta backup the 2x doc folders before any updates and etc. I don't even know where my disks are... Ah it was in my 1080ti's box... Ok it was 7 disks.... I guess I can try again today for the heck of it... Anyways I know for a fact that "gta4" doesn't install on anything but winxp. I have the release day copy, again I bought it the 1st day. I think I had to use virtualbox to install it last time. Crappy game though so whatever, don't care... One issue is though, and one of the reasons why I don't wanna bother with gta5 at all. Is that it takes me 2-3 weeks to update it. And I can't stand being in windows for longer then an hour. I hate windows, so ugly, needs msi afterburner in the bg to prevent my pos 1080ti from overheating (this card sucks, coil whine pos..). I've already logged in once and used my key and etc. That was the 1 time I got it to work. Anyways it throws out diff error codes. That's usaully as far as I gets. I'm not gonna get help here anyways I know better then that. There is no help to be had for this.
One you didn't ask for help you just complained. 2nd of all I reported you for insulting members of this community. I totally agree with you that GTA IV isn worth a bother.

This is not the thread for this Neo. Ask for help in the GTAV thread in the Game topic. Honestly though if you're going to ask for help for a pirated copy, you are not going to get it in these forums. So do not ask for help, and more ask for help on a pirated copy will result in points.

I think this is the only game in history that I've purchased 3 separate times, so along with you I surely got a TON of enjoyment out of the SP portion of the game. Still do from time to time. The only MP stuff I've done was with a few close friends who I knew wouldn't act like unaccountable children while playing together. Once in a private server together, you can pause the game and look at a list of all the available co-op missions. We spent many hours over many days playing all of those and have really awesome memories and video clips. Also, just general exploration and making up silly goals together can be quite a bit of fun.

Well no surprise here. I could count the times that GTA V wasn't in Steam's weekly TOP 10 selling tiles using my fingers and maybe a few toes. :P
