Yep, Valve screwed up BAD. I'm logged in as some guy from Portugal. I can see all his account information and purchase history. GG. Hopefully someone isn't buying games on my card right now.

Make sure you click on 'View Account Details'. Mine is showing someone else account details even though I'm logged in correctly as myself. Edit: as I was typing this, I checked again and it's now back to showing my account details...wow... Edit two...I logged out and back in, and now it's showing a different account details.

Which is exactly why I no longer store my CC info on Steam. I know too many people that had their accounts hacked.

I think this is affecting people who bought something today. Seems to be some sort of cache issue.

Also, i guess i just Repost this before it gets lost, maybe put it also in First post.. IMPORTANT: SteamDB recommends avoiding Steam webpages atm because of the issue: https://twitter.com/SteamDB/status/680490823226671104 https://twitter.com/SteamDB/status/680490823226671104
Valve is having caching issues allowing users to view things such as account information of other users. Don't use Store for now. The best way to protect yourself is to completely avoid Steam websites for now. Don't do anything. Do not visit any Steam Store url. This include using store in the Steam client.

Reports its back up, and not showing the cached details.

And this is precisely why I never save my credit card info online. I manually type in my CC info every time I make a Steam purchase.

Except my game downloaded yesterday doesn't start - just unknown error. Fcking fight to get it working starts...

Just saw this while doing somw late night surfing, logged in right away and deleted my paypal account from steam. Better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah, this was a pretty huge screw up by Valve, i wonder what the official statement from them will be. From one of the accounts i got access to, i could se the phonenumber, mail address, full name and mailing address etc..

"You have no payment methods associated with this account." There is a reason I have set that way.

oh I just took a closer look and yea every time I clicked something the region or language changed, it showed random games as if I already owned them etc, what a great timing valve
