I'm eager to see if Dice has improved the DX12 path compared to Battlefield 1. I was very disappointed that even Dice had poor DX12 performance, they were one of the most vocal actors about DX12/Vulkan and had a very good Mantle path in their previous games.

The only thing that sold me on it this time is the single player campaign (and the fact that GMG had it for $40 a few months ago). I only recently bought the last one when it was on sale for $5 for the ultimate edition; the space battles part is actually pretty fun, so I may end up playing it in SWFB2. Looks like my OC'd 4770k is still holding up, even though I have had to drop it down to 4.3 GHz at this point to keep it stable.

Nah fam. I always played battlefield bot matches for years and LAN with my brother, and I loved the ground to space gameplay.....now they are seperate. Everything I loved about this series is dead
