You could simply do some stuff with diskpart to actually fix this. Though I do agree it's kind of silly when the OS screws up that partition itself. Once had a double recovery partition that screwed everything up after one of the yearly updates. You can actually fix this using DISM & DISKPART.

My favorite update was the one that killed the wireless card driver, the exact card model for me being the "ASUS PCE-AC68 Dual Band Wireless AC1900 PCI-E Adapter"... then having to buy a very long Ethernet cable to run it to the router on the other side of the house just to get connected to the internet. It took them a few months to fix that "new feature". GG Microsoft.

Just remove the letter mapping instead of disabling the warning. So much easier solution huh.
