ASUS releases ROG Strix XG27ACG: 27-Inch Fast IPS Gaming LCD with ELMB Sync

ASUS announced the release of the ROG Strix XG27ACG, a 27-inch WQHD gaming LCD display, on May 10, 2024. This monitor integrates advanced display technologies and is designed to enhance the gaming experience with its combination of high refresh rates and motion clarity. The ROG Strix XG27ACG features ELMB Sync, a motion blur reduction technology that works alongside variable refresh rates to deliver high frame rate gameplay without compromising clarity. This display also incorporates various AI-driven GamePlus functions, including a Dynamic Crosshair, which helps in real-time analysis of display content to enhance aiming visibility, and Dynamic Shadow Boost, which improves details in dark scenes while controlling overexposure and flicker.

The specifications of the display include a Fast IPS panel with a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms (GTG) response time. It offers a brightness level of 400cd/m^2, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and wide viewing angles of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically. The color accuracy is high with an sRGB coverage of 125% and DCI-P3 at 95%, supporting both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible technologies. Connectivity options on the ROG Strix XG27ACG are extensive, featuring DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, and an earphone jack. The stand offers adjustments including -5 to 20 degrees tilt, -45 to 45 degrees swivel, -90 to 90 degrees pivot, and height adjustments from 0 to 120mm.
