I just want to run 64GB at like 3200CL14 or faster on X570. G.SKILL make that happen for me! 🙂 4 Dual Rank modules, can't be that bad, right? Right!? No-one cares about high capacity on Ryzen 🙁

i mean those are gaming things. Whatever it performs better. I wonder if 4000 cl 18 is better than 3600 cl 14 and how much 3600 cl14 beats 3200 cl14 in fps. a 2%? Also really curious if those things are usable on x470. Should i aim at swap all?

oh wait.. those are on ryzen 2700x. Does the chipset mean anything at all in this case? isn't the memory controller just in the cpu and the motherboard offering copper interconnect and nothing else?

That is all true but I would wait to see some testing done by reviewers before you spend your cash. When hitting these speeds the motherboard vendor did have to pay a little attention to traces etc which on the higher end boards it will likely work out but I doubt you will see much high speed memory being tested with x370 or x470.

They will now that Ryzen 3000 supports 128GB of memory at much faster speeds.

So what Hilbert didn't mention that DDR4-4000MHz is running with a 2700x CPU. Now that's impressive.

Think i'll end up just picking up something like this and getting as high as possible at CL14. Be it 3466 or 3600, i'd rather gamble a bit than buy the binned 4k kit

I don't have high hopes for 32GB DIMMs at decent OC performance, its just not a typical market. Even 16GB DIMMs is already pretty hard to find at decent clocks/timings. G.SKILL has the 3200 CL14 ones, but anyone else talking about performance memory only has 8GB modules in mind. Thats what I get for wanting to make a decent gaming/workstation hybrid system! Personally I would be happy if 3200 CL14 4x16GB works out of the box on X570/Ryzen 3000. According to the memory support chart, their 3200 support is only for two single-rank modules .. with 4 dual-rank modules it drops down to 2666 "officially", but maybe it OCs well enough!

G.Skill already had achieved/showcased 4000MHz on a 2700X a year ago using ASUS X470 CROSSHAIR VII Hero. Link: https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/g-skill-showcases-extreme-ddr4-memory-kits-up-to-ddr4-5066mhz-at-computex-2018.html

Hi ! i have a RogDominus extreme W-3175x graphic card Nvidia Titan, i use memory 192GB which is 12x16GB, BIOS 411. What bios do you use? And i put a dual kit 64gb (2x32gb) trident royal-Gold 4000. My system doesnt turn on, im windering why what may the problem be. Let me know, it only works with RipJaws V-Series ? Thanks,Best Regards,Alex

4x 4GB 3000c15 on my Intel ROG board with a clocked 6700K runs at 3733c17. The same ram on my AMD ROG board with an R5 3600 at stock speed, the fastest I can get using only "2" sticks is 2800c15. That tells a story. (Ram is Samsung D die)
