Marvelous! They managed to fit another dimension in there. Guess that is now required to outsmart all them pixies, remaining trapped both in time and space. Inspector SpaceTime approves of this product.

4D Nand? This is getting ridiculous... Also, TLC would be the max I'm willing to go. Hate the QLC tech to the bone.

Why to hate a technology? maybe it is still early bit it will be better for all of us, best density speed and price, no? 😕

QLC sacrifices too much write cycles for density in my opinion. The sacrifice from SLC to MLC was negligible as the write cycles were just huge. MLC to TLC is noticeable, for a heavy user it will shorten the life of the SSD. TLC to QLC is just ridiculous, good for ultrabooks maybe but not for desktops and heavy usage.

Well, reliability is priority for me, i haven't noticed this write cycles reduction on specs. Thanks for the info jeje

It has been noticed by Guru3D before, multiple times. This image illustrates very well what I mean. Spoiler: 'Open me'

To summarise: from TLC to QLC you gain 33% density, but costs you 2/3 durability. My thoughts: QLC is good for storage, TLC is better for heavy usage.
