Cool, this should drop the temps plus bring us closer to DDR5. I wonder when DDR5 will be ready to drop, maybe in time for Zen2 Threadrippers and PCI-e 4.0 mobos! Next year might be insane, I really hope the GPUs will hit 7nm next year too.

I don't think DDR5 is that close. It was postponed for end 2019 and Anandtech says 2020. As for PCIe4.0 I think it will land only on server market, for consumers it's more likely to be 2020 also.

Yeah DDR5 around Q4 2019, or there about. Intel IceLake or just TigerLake will be DDR5, by AMD Ryzen3?

Such chips should primarily go to high performance mobile sector and servers.
