With offline mode I assume that some decent modding will be not too far off? If so it may finally be time to get myself a copy.

Yea, I got a free copy and I couldn't get it to go past the tutorial after I waited for like over an hour for it to push updates. I may take another look at it if they make it offline capable.

General Manager of Maxis Emeryville studio, revealed that Update 10 will include the highly demanded offline feature for the single-player game.

sim city players like to build - with such a limited space they cannot do that. Offline adds NOTHING to a game which is already single player by design, due to caca multiplayer

It is too late to make anything right with SimCity 2013 but I give them an A for effort and that is about it. If I want to play Simcity I will just play Sim City 2000 or purchase 3000 if I want better graphics.

I have not played a Sim City game since the first one on the Amiga back in 1991. Everyone to there own but i just find them boring as **** although the new ones do look alot better, still dont sway me though haha:)
