The worst company on the planet strikes again...
The Goose
Does this mean No dlc or updates for Sims 4.

Ea has manage to ruin another studio.

It's only the only the original Maxis studio in Emeryville that was closed, there are other Maxis studios that will continue the Sims franchise. It's still **** though, it's EA's fault that the latest Sims had such bad launch problems, not Maxis's.

Man this sucks. Maxis created some classic games and it is hard to see them go. EA really screwed up Maxis. I remember watching a rant video about the buggyness of the Sims 3. Also it is EA's fault that the recent SimCity sucks and failed horribly.

this is why I want to destroy everything on this planet and restart over.

Had many good times on Simcity 2000, shame that never got ported to mobile. Then again EA would screw it up somehow

You people really gotta start talking with your money. Over and over people know EA is the problem, yet they'll still buy EA games because there's always at least 1 per year that's decent. But we need more than just "decent", and EA is probably the worst offender of game quality and customer service.
I think the last EA game I bought was Mirror's Edge, for $5.

Is EA completely incompetent, or is it just that they simply are such huge *******s they shut everything that doesn't give them huge profits down relentlessly?

I posted elsewhere.
So the sims is still going, and a small amount of staff has been moved somewhere else to keep simcity going.

Hilarious. "Hey guys, we're closing you down because your last game didn't do so well", completely ignoring the fact that it was rushed out the door by EA themselves, with a retarded DRM system that was their idea. But sure, Maxis is losing us money guys, we need to close it!

Another notch on the studio and series killing belt. How many are they up to now?

here's an old review 🙂. Takes me back... :')
(there was also a GBA version, which you could consider mobile)
Actually, it got ported to Pocket PC / Windows Mobile (by a company named ZIO Interactive); probably the version I played most 🙂. I admit, it's somewhat hard to find sources, but warezme
