My god. Good thing we don't call our computer nowadays. My PC would just say, "F#CK OFF, I AM DONE WITH YOU AND YOUR RIDICULOUS OC".

I had no idea that any of that even existed back then as i started my first job after just leaving school that year, so the closest i came to any technology back in 1984 was my Vic 20 and Ceefax on the TV, i did not even know about this internet thing until 1998 when NTL did that free internet dial up service for their cable customers and that first time logging onto the internet felt like Armstrong stepping onto the moon. lol

Man it's things like this that kids take for granted.
I was born in 90, so I can't attest for this. But kids now don't even care about emailing someone, you gotta DM them in snapchat, or whatever they're using now. AIM for life, email too lol.
Or how kids don't know the struggle of a bike with carbs...Gotta let the Kawasaki warm up for 10 minutes before I can ride it.

And yet even after all these advantages in technology, in 1984 you could actually do multicast (send the content to multiple users at the same time). In 2018 you cannot.
