Why do they even announce this? Just work with Samsung/Google and fix it?

"The Knox platform isn't preloaded on the Galaxy S4..." Well.. yes and no. Depends how you define "preloaded." While it is technicly true that this Knox software is not installed on the Galaxy S4, don't be fooled: It is still very much bundled. All you have to do to confirm this for yourself is go to a carrier that has the phone, ask to try one out, and then go look at the list of apps that come with the phone. Oh look, there's a shortcut to "KNOX" in there. Now, you and I know enough about how this sort of thing works to know that he next step should be to read up on the dam thing before you even touch it, but sadly you and I are not most people. Most people see a shiny new app button and they press it. And then they keep clicking "Next." And "OK." And whatever other button seems necessary to get past the interminable setup screens. Never occurs to them to slow down and read the text on the screen, much less to spend a few hours researching the software and reading reviews about it. (Or as we used to say back in the day: RTFM!)
