I bought v4 for my i5 2500k and it was a awesome upgrade. Unless you're space restricted I suggest looking at coolers with 120mm fans, as they are more powerful and silent. That said, this new version has a new fan, might be very silent.

Yeah. I am using similar cooler for my 2500k@4.5GHz and it keeps temps below 80C on prime95 burn test. However, unless you overclock CPU a lot and hitting thermal threshold or above 80C, I wouldn't really recommend to replace it.
