Its very good idea. But better if manufactures start do it on the production line. Lol. That can be fully automated process on line.. its possible , but ppl get foolished thinking.. they need professionall service. When 99% TV and monitors out of box have a screwed, picture presets 🙁

Have you ever had a set calibrated? Trust me its worth it. I've sat through 4 of my tv's over the years being calibrated(rear projecton, LED and 2 OLED's). Out of the box these sets are off. Once he was done dialing them in to proper settings. Will the average consumer notice? Probably not. The audio/videophile most definitely will.

Yep.. have calibrated my Panasonic, and i like it. But my point is.. that for a profesional service we need pay some extra money. When producer can put one more extra device on the end of line. To make (atleast) one proper preset :3eyes:

Agree Today you can buy properly factory calibrated monitors and I do own one. Having that option for TV's would be nice even if there was a higher cost it certainly would reduce the hassle.
