"with its innovative 32:9 aspect ratio means you always get to see game scenes in their entirety, exactly as their developers intended" Yeah, I totally know developers that target 32:9. ???? Who writes this crap?

My thought precisely, however that 144hz and that size sure make it nice, but the price..

I think Project Cars or other driving/flying simulators would look great on this. However, for general gaming... meh. I can't imagine CIV6 on it ^.^

I think they just can't manage higher then 1080 with larger size panels if they want to go with faster specs. I still with my old trusty wide 27" 1920x1200 60hz lcd. just can't find any thing good these days. was actually looking 29,30" flat ultrawide atleast 144hz 2k resolution but failed to find one....

What are Samsung waiting for, to release 27/32 1440p hdr monitors?

A lot of game developers do develop ultra-wide modes for their game for people who use multi monitor setups. But with multiple monitors you have borders between screens breaking them up. This monitor is like having 2 monitors setup, but no border in the middle. So what they say does make sense, in a way.

144 maybe not but 100 with the Samsung C791. Picked that monitor up and it's a nice ultrawide 34" 3440x1440 w/ freesync to boot. Great colors too with quantum dot tech.

They already did in some regions. However, the 32" model CHG70 turns out to be a bust according to early reviews. Lots of people claim that the monitor handles text poorly and HDR is pretty much useless at this moment. Also the base design is horribly space consuming.

Weird resolution choice, if only it was 4k. Although 49" is ridiculous for a desktop monitor lol. How would that even be at all doable for 99% of all PC users. 32 inch is ideal and a little more practical...

http://dl.wavetrex.eu/ubergeek/u5.jpg My desktop a while back. I wonder how it would look with 3 of these curved ultrawides ?
May I ask why so many screens? Work? Just because you can? 😉

Simpler to turn the head and locate some information than to find out which one of the 20-30 open windows in the taskbar or browser windows I have to click to locate the information I need. Yes, work... 🙁 ... which is why I like the idea of "more pixels" without actually being grossly big/tall (with a standard 16:9 format), or too small pixels to read anything. These ultrawides have their customers, for sure !
