Ryzen 3XXX @ 5.0GHZ (all cores) + DDR4 4000Mhz = RIP Intel forever!!!

Come to papa sweet sweet Ryzen 3X00X! I've been waiting for the 3700X for a while now, but of course I'm going to wait to see reviews of all of them... in case I need MOAR COARS! When I first got this Ryzen 2700 I never thought I'd make so much use of the 16 threads. Turns out if you're enough of a computer nerd troll you use lots of kinds of programs.

IMA coming for you! Ryzen 9 3850x if you give me 5.1ghz with 16c you are mineeeeee! even if its 5.0

I think the Ryzen 3300X is gonna be the best seller out of all of these. 6c/12t is plenty enough for a budget gaming machine.

The 3600X seems so tasty!

Streamers are going to be all over this generation

Pricing seems a bit on the low side. I think Hilbert is right and 12C/16C parts moving down to Ryzen seem unlikely, especially if there's a big performance jump from the current gen parts. Not that I'd complain if these leaks ended up being on the mark.

OK AMD. I am done here. Just take my money and send me the 3850x. I am tired of salivating every day

Intel Response will be. " lets keep our prices high, people will still buy them over AMD" Next PC will be a Ryzen if I make another one, AMD providies the same performance for much less then Intel

12core consumer chip? uhhh ill be glad when the rumors become solidified in some capacity so that we can know for sure wtf is going on. one thing is for sure, benchmarking & power consumption from the engineering samples was impressive.

Im gonna build ryzen 3600 or 3700 rig this year and replace this 3930k

Ryzen 3600X might have better chance at taking on 9900K, since it has 95W TDP according to leaks. And take into account that boost clock is probably meaning single core boost. At this point we have wait and see actual reviews to show us how far Zen 2 can push all cores.
Ofc clocks are single core boost... anyways the 3600X is rated at 95W which doesn't line up with AMD demonstration which showed a 65W part.(after some basic math)

I'm going back and forth between the 3300X and 3600X....

Im more interested in 12/24 part compability for my Hero VI 😀 But i want to change only CPU this Yas (8/16 at 5GHz and im in), RAM is already ready for it -> Think about ZEN + 32GB 4000MHz CL17 1T 😱 (now 'only' 3500 CL14) So brutal....

RzrTrek:

It's going to be interesting to see if these CPUs can push 5GHz (on all cores) with decent voltages.
My realistic guess would be up to 4,5 GHz on all cores for the silicone lotery winner's, then ad some ipc improovements with the updated architecture and you will get a good idea as for what to expect .

I would not build my hopes too much to avoid disappointment, For some reason people start daydreaming and hype the upcoming cpu's and then come back complaining about less than expected performance . Keep it real folks.

I really hope AMD delivers. I have to see the reviews and real prices before I decide which processor I'll buy. If there is some true about this it's probably going to be a 3600x or 3700.

Obviously the future holds whatever the future holds, but i'm not sure i understand what you mean. Hilbert didn't say anything about what you stated he said? If anything, hilbert, like most PC enthusiasts sites, have repeatedly stated there is evidence that Zen 2 will be up to 16 cores, and there's no evidence to suggest otherwise. Again, only the future knows what will happens officially, but by now it's 100% expected from all enthusiasts sites that it'll be above 8 cores on ryzen processors. https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-ryzen-3000-with-12-and-16-cores-will-be-coming-as-well.html ^ From guru3d itself.

I'm sorry in advance if hurting someone's feelings, but everyone who uses the expression "too good to be true" should be shot on both feet. GDC is closing in, if AMD makes any move now its possible that we can have R3000 parts by next month. Though I'm not counting on it, as I expect June/July to be a more plausible release. As a market standpoint, I think AMD would release the product as soon as they can, to get all the market they can before Intel can respond.
Sorry in advance, but you appear to be a non-english speaker who doesn't fully comprehend the meaning of "too good to be true?" Shot on both feet screams I don't speak your language also. No offense though, mate!
